The Beginning of Leaving...

We had Number 1 son's Graduation open house yesterday.  It was a wonderful day. I did not have enough time to talk with every person as much as I would have liked.  People I have come to rely on for friendship, quilting advice and laughter.  I hope they know, what they mean to me.

Today, we are on to the next thing...sorting possessions for where they will live for the next 3-5 years.  How many hammers will we need?  How many skillets in my small Belgium kitchen?  I know how much of my fabric stash to bring...Every bit of it!

Early Mother's Day

I got a new camera for Mother's Day and I got to take pictures for Baby Girl's Confirmation.  It was a wonderful ceremony...peaceful and prayerful.  Then out to lunch and home to nap.  It was an early day for a Saturday.

Busy weekend

This weekend was very busy with moving details and dance.  My BFF had been here for a week, helping me clean the town home, sort through stuff, do a charity drop off, fold and pack up my fabric stash and do the Twin Cities Quilt Shop Hop. It was a very productive week.

My dear husband returned from Belgium Friday and we bought beds, patio furniture and looked at gas grills to take with us.  The rest of my time was spent with my Baby Girl at a dance competition Saturday and Sunday.  It was great to watch all the energy and joy the dancers had.

...and a car

Dear Husband's company will be leasing a car for me.  This Audi wagon may be it.  I wanted an automatic, English speaking GPS, and room for luggage for when friends visit (hint, hint).
